Full performance benchmarks for Virifi’s Solution Proposal are currently being evaluated. The initial deployment supports standard enterprise loads, and benchmarks will be published after structured testing using CBJ-aligned scenarios. Estimated throughput varies by HSM model, runtime configuration, and signature complexity (e.g., LTA vs B-T).


Performance Evaluation Status

Performance and scalability benchmarks for Virifi’s Solution Proposal are currently undergoing structured evaluation. These results will reflect real-world CBJ signature workflows, including high-load signing, validation under latency, and long-term archival scenarios.


What to Expect

Metrics to be demonstrated include:

  • Signature throughput (signatures/sec)

  • API response times under load

  • Latency differences (Cloud vs On-Prem HSM)

  • Validation time for LTA and timestamped signatures

  • Concurrent signature flow handling


Preliminary Insights

While precise figures will depend on deployment architecture and HSM selection, early tests and vendor data suggest:

  • Cloud HSMs: 1,000–2,000 signatures/sec (e.g., Securosys)

  • On-Prem HSMs: 5–50 signatures/sec depending on interface (USB/PCI)

  • DSS Java Engine: 15–30ms per operation in warm environments
